Learn to steward your time, talents, resources.
Biblical stewardship is an integral part in the life of every child of God. We take the time to teach about biblical stewardship. Our God is a God of order. He has established covenants with us, His children. In His Word, there are truths that have been established, and God does not lie.
God is our provider. He provided a way for us to be redeemed from the curse of sin through the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ. He provides guidance through His Holy Spirit which dwells in us after receiving salvation. He establishes these things in His Word to us.
Why would anyone ignore the rest of God’s provision for health and prosperity? In the bible poverty is never given to anyone as a blessing, and poverty is always referred to as a curse in the bible. Are there warnings about trusting in earthly wealth instead of trusting in God? Of course, there are!
Money, wealth, prosperity, and possessions are not evil. They are simply tools. Tools can be used for building or destruction, good or evil. This is where principles of stewardship come in. In the parable of the talents, the money was not called evil or wicked; the servant who did not use the talent well and multiply it was called wicked or evil.
The bible does NOT say that “money is the root of all evil”. It states, “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil”. What you love will be evident by where you spend your “substance”. Your substance is you, your time, and your energy.
You trade your time and energy for money at work.
Hopefully, You invest some of your substance in your spouse, your children, your church, and your God. The problem most people encounter is when they are investing too much of their substance into something that has become their god…with a small “g”. (showing that they love that thing more than anything else)
Stewardship is more than sowing and reaping, seed time and harvest time. It is about stewarding God’s most precious resource, which is YOU. It is your substance. God created you. The bible directs you to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you mind. The bible also instructs us, from creation until today, to be fruitful and multiply. You can not be fruitful and have nothing. You can not bless others without being blessed yourself.
Stewardship teaching is desperately needed today. To many people misunderstand or have no understanding of what God’s Word ACTUALLY says about: how they should live, where they should invest their time and money, what happens when they invest their money into the kingdom of heaven, the covenants that have been set up by God for His children, the promises that they have been given by God, and much more. We look forward to seeing your breakthroughs in stewardship of everything that God has entrusted to you.
